The CarX Blind Spot Monitoring System Radar brings one of the most valuable active safety technologies found in luxury vehicles to any car, truck, or SUV regardless of make, model, or year — providing continuous radar-based monitoring of the dangerous blind spot zones beside and behind your vehicle and alerting you instantly when another vehicle enters those zones during highway driving and lane changes. Blind spot-related lane change collisions are among the most common and preventable accidents on highways, and the CarX system addresses this risk directly by monitoring the areas your mirrors cannot adequately cover with radar sensors that detect approaching vehicles reliably regardless of lighting conditions, weather, or vehicle size. The two compact radar sensor modules mount discreetly inside your rear bumper — requiring no exterior modifications and remaining invisible from outside the vehicle — and continuously scan the zones from your rear doors to approximately 50 meters behind your vehicle. When a vehicle enters your blind spot zone, an amber LED indicator illuminates in your side mirror on the corresponding side, providing a clear, intuitive visual warning that mirrors the interface familiar to drivers of premium factory-equipped vehicles. If you then activate your turn signal toward the occupied blind spot, the LED warning intensifies and an audible chime sounds, providing a critical secondary alert to prevent a lane change into an occupied zone. Rear Cross Traffic Alert activates when you reverse out of parking spaces, scanning for approaching vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians crossing behind your vehicle and alerting you with both visual and audible signals before contact becomes possible.
